The
Bronner Business Institute offers training for aspiring
entrepreneurs and current business owners. BBI concentrates
these offerings around the NxLevel Entrepreneurship curriculum.
The
NxLeveL™ Entrepreneurial Training Program was initially funded by a
grant from the U S WEST Foundation to the University of Colorado at
Denver. Housed in the Colorado Center for Community Development,
NxLeveL® is the result of listening to the business training needs
of business service providers throughout the United States.
Currently,
NxLeveL is taught in 47 states in over 600 communities, and 7
countries. It is now the largest entrepreneurial curriculum network
in the world!
After extensively
studying other systems, BBI selected the NxLevel curriculum in 2004
because of the successful track record it has in developing
entrepreneurs. Independent evaluations of the courseware by
the University of Calgary found that existing business owners who
had taken NxLevel courses had a 32% increase in gross sales within
one year of graduating from the course. Theses business also
averaged the creation of 1.3 new jobs. More importantly, 93%
of all aspiring business owners who started a business after
taking a NxLevel course, were still in business three years after
graduation which beats the national average of 16.5%.
BBI supplements the NxLevel
classes with modules and activities designed to enhance Kingdom ethics and to
increase classroom participation and learning.
